The Oak Inn Defford is a beautifully maintained 17th century country inn and restaurant. Set in the unspoilt, scenic and delightful hamlet of Woodmancote, a warm welcome and fantastic food await you. Since re-opening in March 2010 we have undergone an extensive refurbishment on the building, creating a light, refreshing and relaxing environment in the restaurant whilst maintaining all original features in the bar and lounge areas. Wooden beams, a copper bar and wood burner all add to the character of the traditional bar which offers an array of carefully selected real ales and ciders. The lounge offers a warm, cosy atmosphere with low beams and open fire, ideal for a light lunch or evening meal, particularly in those winter months. Three en-suite bedrooms and an acre of land, complete with its own chicken pen and orchard, provide a great destination for any occasion. After only 18 months of ownership we are quickly becoming established as one of the best and most popular restaurants in the area.
